"What a caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly"
Mural to commemorate the life of Julius Gee, who died in a paramotor accident in 2007. Julius passed away doing what he loved most and fulfilling his dreams. We wanted to represent that through the little characters that are riding the flying animals, the butterfly and the dragonfly, and we also decided to make his portrait as a character, a nature spirit, that has got immersed into that universe and observes our world. The quote on the left is from his favourite book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach
My design is a tribute to one of the biggest lovers of nature and writer Richard Jefferies, I wanted to create a free flow representation of nature, mixed with fragments of his book "Life of the fields" which I found really psychedelic and relevant to these days we live in. Sponsored by Telenco supporting funds for the charity Julia's House

I made this Tortoise to reminds us of species that are yet to be 'as dead as a dodo' and to protect the many that creatures that are still among us.
